What is this websites purpose ?

This website is my creative media- film tv and journalism (UOA) work. This works as my portfolio, research and blog of my work processes. This also holds all of my social medias in one place to make the filming I do accessible

What will it look like?

My site will be split into the different segments of this course to make it easily navigable  for the viewers. I will use fonts and colours for easy reading.

How will it be organised?

I will split it into segments for simpler navigation and I will include lots of graphics, not just blocks of text, as I think it is easier to digest the information in this format.

What do people like in website design?

design

In web design people like colour schemes and no more than one or two fonts. Keeping a steady theme is important when creating a website that is visually appealing to the viewer. Having big chunks of text is often off putting when reading information. Because of this, it is important to split up different sections and add in photos that match up with the topic. Organisation is key to make the site easier to navigate and sleeker.

How i adapted this into my site

I have a steady colour scheme of brown in my work apart from when i do research into photographers/cinematographers where i try to match the theme of the page to their unique work stylesin my sections which include a lot of text, I often make it's visually interesting to look at and to keep the graphics topical as to keep the reader occupied whilst they are reading. I also like to make my website interactive for this same reason. I have gallery's that you can scroll through and click on to expand.
